Patient data is collected during preoperative visit and then uploaded to GSS; our engineers then prepare the case for an online, treatment-planning session for review with the surgeon.
After final approval of the plan, we custom design and 3D print patient-specific surgical guides based on your preferences.
All parts are shipped directly to your office along with a full Case Report allowing for direct transfer of the treatment plan to the operating room.
There are two guided surgery protocols available for use with the SDS surgical tray. Both protocols are designed to accurately guide the depth and trajectory of the implant to the planned position.
Guided Pilot Hole Protocol
Initial osteotomy is guided via direct insert of the SDS Pilot Drill into a single surgical guide.
Sequential Guide Protocol
A series of sequential guides to gradually increase the osteotomy width; each accommodating direct insert of a specific drill in the drilling sequence.
